The annual salary range for this role starts at $76,876.80 / year and increases with years of relevant work experience.

This position directs the business, technical and nursing support activities of a multi-speciality medical clinic. In conjunction with the Administrative Director or Vice President and the Physician Leader, oversees administrative functions of the clinic including operations, marketing, facilities, finance, human resources, and planning and development. Includes VMMC clinics with more than 3 multi-speciality areas and/or 7-25 physicians/providers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develops and implements clinic-specific customer service, human resource, and financial goals & objectives consistent with VMMC's strategic plan and goals.
- Performs all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment and retention, analyzing staff mix and deploying staff, ensuring competency of staff through development and regular evaluation, and providing disciplinary counseling.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by analyzing customer complaints, concerns and suggestions and providing appropriate follow-through.
- Forecasts staffing, capital and operating budget needs in evaluating and reporting on the clinic's market position, financial situation, space utilization, etc. Monitors performance of plan and makes adjustments as needed.
- Plans and organizes staff and facilities to meet customer needs. Ensures routine maintenance is performed, problems corrected and systems in place to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patient care/service delivery.
- Markets and promotes new and existing programs and services to patients and community.
- Participates in organization-wide committees to establish or improve customer service and administrative plans and policies. Represents clinic and VMMC to local community and business groups.
- Develops and implements clinic-specific policies and procedures and implements and monitors system standard work.
We require a Bachelor's degree in business administration, nursing or a related field, or equivalent; degree preferred. Master's degree preferred. Five years progressively responsible clinic management experience; proven proficiency in financial management, which includes comprehensive understanding of insurance plans as they relate to physician practice; the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and concisely to a variety of audiences; and strong Human Resources skills.
