The annual salary range for this role starts at $84,739.20/year and increases with years of relevant work experience.

The HRIS Applications Manager is responsible for defining requirements, design, implementation, maintenance, toubleshooting and coordination of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related applications. This job facilitates efficient operations to meet current and future business needs. Ensures continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.
1. Provides leadership and direction in the day-to-day activities, troubleshooting and operational management related to assigned HRIS application(s). Establishes and implements HRIS processes and user documentation.
2. Determines scope of HRIS application by consulting with application users (e.g., Human Resources staff), and VM leaders as applicable, to determine organizational needs for human resources-related information. Identifies user needs and monitors progress toward objectives.
3. Oversees application testing (acceptance, regrssion and integration); conversion of data onto HRIS and related data security; and implementation of new application and associated interfaces with other systems and locations. Trains department and organizational staff on system access and use.
4. Serves as the liaison with IS/ERP teams and other departments regarding HRIS applications issues by negotiating and consulting with management specialists, technical staff, and/or vendors. Ensures HRIS upgrade information is communicated to human resources staff.
5. Develops and oversees defined and adhoc report creation and maintenance.
6. Researches HRIS vendors to determine if market products match organization needs and budget; maintains awareness of vendor plans and their potential impact on current and future HRIS functionality.
7. Assists with planning, budgeting, and forecasting of HRIS needs and applications; provides input in preparing budget for the development, implementation, and maintenance of computerized systems.
8. Provides functional supervision of HR support staff involved in application-related processes.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent. At least 7 years of HRIS/Human Resources or other relevant experience (e.g., IT); Prefer at least 3 years of ORACLE experience; supervisory experience desirable; strong SQL query skills preferred; Strong organizational and analytical skills, and aptitude for detail, required. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent activities required. Strong project management and influence skills required in managing complex, multi-disciplinary efforts. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills required in interactions with all levels of VM staff, and vendors. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Familiarity with health care environment preferred.
