Using education theory and principles applied to the current health care environment, this position consults, designs and implements education programs for staff throughout the medical center with emphasis on management development needs and team development. This individual also facilitates teams.
Coach, consult, and train leaders of teams to comptently deliver the responsibilitites articulated on both sides of th eLeadership compact.
Assist leader clients to understand and develop leadership approaches based upon measurable outcomes aligning with VM Strategic Plan.
Serve as faculty to and participate in development, improvement, and delivery of leadership development deliverables.
Interpret for and communicate to customers the full range of services and offerings and define outcomes to meet each endeavor.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources or related field. Master's degree in Education or related field highly preferred. This position requires demonstrated experience in adult learning theory; large group presentation skills; team facilitation; quality management and customer service techniques and communications skills. Must be able to consult, design and implement education programs for the Medical Center staff.
