Day Shift (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
The annual salary range for this role starts at $66,414.40/ year and increases with years of relevant work experience.

Collaborates with the assigned client groups/departments/leadership teams in implementing Virginia Mason's Strategic Plan and other VMMC key initiatives and programs, using the Virginia Mason Production System (VMPS). This includes optimizing people, strategy, structure, process and culture, and facilitating the liaison/delivery of HR services.
1. Establishes a strategic business partnership and rapport with assigned clients, serving as the primary HR resource to leaders. Develops a thorough understanding of the client groups' needs and future direction in order to communicate HR processes and procedures to leaders in areas such as employee relations counseling, employment, benefits, compensation and HR operations.
2. Provides creative objective consulting support and encourages open dialogue with client group leadership and staff to resolve complex personnel issues while adhering to HR confidentiality standards.
3. Provides guidance to client group leadership on implementation of VMPS strategies that result in department redesigns. Explains policies, obtains necessary information, and analyzes data to ensure there is no adverse impact to the organization.
4. Works with HR teams to develop and implement HR based solutions to business problems identified within the organization. Working with and under the guidance of appropriate HR leadership, develops recommendations and assists with the implementation of HR strategies, using VMPS.
5. Designs and facilitates one-on-one and group training sessions that provide leadership and staff with HR policies and procedures relating to employment, benefits, HR operations, compensation, training and employee relations. Ensures that training is developed in close collaboration with HR teams.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, related area or equivalency; five plus years related experience; and demonstrated knowledge of all human resources functions required. Proven experience with and/or working knowledge of the following also required: effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; developing and maintaining collaborative, customer-oriented relationships with leadership and staff; recommending effective solutions to resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies and procedures, regulations or government law; objectively coach leadership and staff through complex difficult and emotional issues.
Experience in areas of clients served, a master's degree in a related field, prior supervisory experience and/or certification (PHR, SPHR) are preferred.
