Human Resources Assistant (temporary assignment 2-3 months) Seattle, WA
FTE: 40 hours/week, Day Shift

This position performs a variety of routine to moderately difficult secretarial and clerical duties at a fully proficient level.
1. Completes standard processes related to key project activities for existing HR and compliance programs related to WSNA negotiations, Director Talent Reviews, V-NET edits and changes, PSA tracking and SOPHOS reviews. 2. Completes documentation standard work for background checks and other compliance activities. Accurately analyzes information to identify risks and/or cases needing further review by a Human Resource Business Partner or the HR Compliance Specialist. 3. Processes information into HRIS databases including Oracle and HR Acuity as it relates to compliance and staff relations activities. Uses critical thinking skills to analyze and troubleshoot transactions and associated documents for appropriateness, policy compliance, and conformance with regulatory matters. Ensures accurate and timely processing of transactions. 4. As delegated by the Director of Staff Relations, coordinates appointments and obtains data related to department based audits and/or investigations related to compliance such as wage/hour and policy violations, etc. 5. Maintains all staff relation files and database program for employee relation events; oversees data integrity. 6. Completes general administrative support functions such as document preparations, scheduling, customer service response and communications.
This position requires two years general human resource assistant/coordinator experience; a high level knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and data entry skills. Must have prior experience using data based systems. Demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills also required. The incumbent must have an attention to detail, be flexible in daily priorities while adhering to standard work and timelines.
