As a key member of our leadership team, you will help to continually develop the results-driven initiatives that define our success and are transforming healthcare.
The Manager directs the business, technical and nursing support activities of a medical clinic. In conjunction with the Administrative Director or Vice President and the Physician Leader, this position oversees the administrative functions of the clinic including operations, marketing, facilities, finance, human resources, and planning and development.
The Manager is responsible for the following departments and/or clinics:

Hyperbaric
-
Pulmonary Medicine
-
Pulmonary Laboratory
-
Bronchoscopy
-
Wound Care
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Developing and implementing clinic-specific customer service, human resource, and financial goals & objectives consistent with VMMC's strategic plan and goals.

Performing all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment and retention, analyzing staff mix and deploying staff, ensuring competency of staff through development and regular evaluation, and providing disciplinary counseling.

Ensuring customer satisfaction by analyzing customer complaints, concerns and suggestions and providing appropriate follow-through.

Forecasting staffing, capital and operating budget needs in evaluating and reporting on the clinic's market position, financial situation, space utilization, etc. Monitoring performance of plan and making adjustments as needed.

Planning and organizing staff and facilities to meet customer needs.

Marketing and promoting new and existing programs and services to patients and community.

Participating in organization-wide committees to establish or improve customer service and administrative plans and policies. Representing clinic and VMMC to local community and business groups.

Developing and implementing clinic-specific policies and procedures and implementing and monitoring system standard work.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nursing or a related field, or equivalent
- 5 or more years progressively responsible clinic management experience
- Proven proficiency in financial management, which includes comprehensive understanding of insurance plans as they relate to physician practice
- The ability to communicate clearly, effectively and concisely to a variety of audiences
- Strong Human Resources skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, nursing or a related field
- Registered Nurse with an active WA State RN license or eligibility to obtain WA State licensure
